Taking some inspiration is absolutely okay but a direct copy is incredibly disrespectful of the time and thought that I put into the way I word and compose my threads.
Please, please respect the goal I had when creating the term 'Flash Litter'. Mentioning that the term was created by Blue Rivers, while lovely, isn't required but I do absolutely ask that you respect the purpose of these litters. These litters should only be used and named as such for the specific purpose of giving what is intended to be a "Foundation Dog" a hearty lineage to start off with. These should not be used as free-for-all litters, BYB, or litters for un-tested adults.
Our Litters
Our Goal with breeding is to produce healthy, well-constructed, sound, quality puppies that are versatile and able to excel at various jobs, dog sports, activities, or be well-rounded family dogs. We strive for the dogs we produce to be exemplary examples of their breed; we do not condone nor participate in line breeding or breeding specifically for mutations, though we do recognise that mutations happen regardless of the care that goes into selecting a match. We typically will have fully in-house litters though we may collaborate with another kennel occasionally.
Status
We are open for private litters! You can find our available studs and broods here. We now have a waitlist for future litters! Please fill out the form located here if you'd like to be put on the waitlist. People on the waitlist will be first to be notified when we're planning a litter that fits their interests and will have the first chance to be put on the litter reservation list.
Planned Litters
Not all planned litters will be public and not all planned litters are imminent. If they're listed here it means that we intend to pair these dogs but should the situation change before a pairing happens the litter may be canceled.

More about our sample litters and why we do them can be found on our breeding page here. ** Flash Litter - Flash litters are quick breedings we do (usually specifically on IG), outside of our main kennel dogs, to help build pedigree for intended foundation stock. LITTER FAQ
We are still using the 8 weeks - 1 sim year ageing system unless otherwise noted.
- Puppies will have our kennels tag River's or of Rivers (ie River's Registered Name/Registered Name of Rivers), you'll be free to choose whichever best suits the registration name. This cannot be changed though the registered name and call name are yours to decide. Puppies housed at our kennel born with a brood will have the studs kennel prefix and our suffix of Rivers (ie PREFIX Registered Name of Rivers.) Prefix and suffix may not be changed.
- Canadian Show line IWE puppies will have the suffix of Wolf Rivers.
- Should puppies still be at our kennel past their take home date we will assign them a registered name that cannot be changed. Call name will still be up to the new owner to decide.
- Litters will be registered at the appropriate breed group, at our expense, and will be good to go if you intend to compete with them. All puppies will come with a proof of pedigree (example: link), and in the case of Doberman litters - a discount on full health testing with DoberGen.
- Puppies born in our kennels will go home exactly 7 days after birth announcement unless otherwise stated, they'll be 8 weeks old (we're fudging our aging system a bit here. The 8 weeks = 1 sim year system will be active on take-home date) and ready for their Beginners Test. We will keep the nursery threads updated with how they're growing and some insights into their emerging personalities.
- Puppies will go home as Small Dog "Puppies" and come with their full-grown Adult form. We will not be sending a puppy form as we've found that the chances of them having drastic differences in body type when aged up in-game were far too high.
- Puppies must maintain our 8 weeks - 1 sim year aging system until 2 years of age, after that, you can use whatever system you prefer.
- If reserving a puppy, we require payment in full after you take your pick, full payment will be returned should you decide before the take home date that you no longer wish to take the puppy.
- Reservations are on a first come first served basis though we may refuse your reservation or bump you lower on the list if we're uneasy about your home being a decent fit. (ie we've not yet seen your dogs be active, you've gotten a puppy from us before and have we've not seen it be active, ect)
- No dog from any litter may be entered in RNG Conformation Shows.
- There is no issue with deciding that a puppy may not fit in your home, though backing out after picking your reservation may result in you getting lower priority for future litters. Payment will not be returned if you back out after the take home date.
- We will be keeping backups of all puppies and we reserve the right to repossess a dog should you go inactive for an unannounced long stretch of time, "kill" the dog before it's reached 5 years of age without checking with us, breed indiscriminately, or break any of our TOU.
- Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need to return a puppy. We would much rather rehome them then never see them be active and cared for!
Doberman FAQ:
Rarities - We do not breed for mutations but we do have a system in place that may result in a mutation being born in one of our in-house litters. You can read more about this here (link). Possible mutations include Partial-Albino, Melanistic, and long coated. Long coats are an extremely rare mutation (you can google Newman if you're interested! One of the few documented pups and was also registered with the AKC), as it's so rare this is highly unlikely to be born in any of our litters.
All our Doberman puppies will have their ears cropped and tails docked as our veterinarian does the whole litter at once. Crop shape will be dependant on how much ear there is to begin with, though we tend to favour the long show crop and tend to avoid the military crop.
If you want your doberman puppy unaltered or only tail/ears altered you need to contact us early. Tails are docked a few days after birth and ears are cropped sometime before take home date. We do a roll to determine how well a crop holds but that information is for us/storytelling/realistic purposes and may be ignored!
Unless they're a rarity, all pups will go home intact unless specified as being a companion pet.Caucasian Ovcharka FAQ:All our Caucasian Ovcharka puppies will have their ears cropped. This happens days after birth, so if you want your puppy to be unaltered make early enquiries. |

Whether they were returned for various reasons or repossessed for inactivity/breaking TOU these dogs all came from an in-house litter and are looking for their new homes!
All dogs listed in this post are free to an active home - your activity levels will determine if we're comfortable releasing them to you. We work hard on these dogs and want to see them enjoying life! You do not have to intend to show or compete with them but we do ask that either you periodically post updates that include the dogs or send us private updates.
We have a soft freeze on ages for dogs whose only active litter mates are owned by Blue Rivers.
Call names are free to be changed along with registered names (within reason) should the dogs have no accumulated points. Dogs with points may not have their registration names changed.

We're very glad everything worked out  had hopped for a smoother birth for her first litter but all things considered everything went well. Little sneak peak of our problem child, Yellow Collar, and our daughter Diane napping after feeding time. Still refusing to nurse more often than not but taking to hand feeding well and staying on-track with weight gain. Once Lizette Bryant decides on their pick of litter we'll get images of the pups out to people that have reserved one, then we'll do a litter reveal here |

I definitely am open to doing another litter before he gets a title but I'd also like to make sure that there's enough interest in the puppies first as I'm not sure about us taking yet another puppy ourselves xD I would really love to see more blues and some of Benny's pups around though.
