17 April Update: With the SIKC's addition of the RNG Conformation Shows our Puppy Terms have also updated.
No puppy obtained from a Blue Rivers litter, be it collab or in-house, may be entered in RNG Conformation Shows.

Hello everyone! There's been a lot of litter news involving dogs from BR recently, we're so incredibly happy to be collabing with Kaiser on these Euro Dobe litters and are very grateful that they've been willing to house our girls for the durations :

The Eruo litters happening off-grounds means that we've been able to really focus on a few others! We're excited to announce one final litter between Lee and Gabby.
"Fantasy Fiction" who will all be named after novels and short stories penned by one of our favourite Irish LGBT+ authors.
Both Gabby and Lee have performed so fantastically this last year that we couldn't pass up one last pairing between our stars while Gab is still young and healthy enough to safely carry a litter.
Please be aware that due to dog and bitch being highly titled prices for puppies will be higher than normal - we will be offering leasing options but will not be offering any co-ownership outside of trusted kennels. Price cuts may be given if puppies go through a Storsjön obedience course as a boarded applicant.
We do also want to be clear from the get-go that if you do not qualify for FULL BREEDING RIGHTS for this litter these puppies may ONLY compete with the SKA until no fewer than 1 (one) title has been earned. It's important for us to make sure that this bloodline doesn't remain congested in one space and we'd like to see this litter excel on their own merit without the significant boost this pairing will give to them with the SIKC.
Puppies will inherit +30 points towards Conformation with the SIKC.
We're expecting Black/Tan, Black/Rust, and Red from this pairing though we've seen a partial-albino and melanistic offspring from them previously. Puppies should excel at conformation while also being solid family dogs. All dogs bred at BR are bred for strong working drives - family only homes are NOT suitable for these puppies.
Yet another update on 'Constellations' as well! Pending Olivia's evaluation for her BGCh this pairing will FINALLY take place!
These puppies will ONLY be placed as Service Dog prospects and will be going through Vita Servitium's training program - this is non-negotiable. Puppies who do not pass their SD training will only then be considered as pet or competitive prospects. Fees will be waived for them as long as they pass their training but those who do not will have a higher price tag as both dog and bitch are highly titled.
Regardless of their SD training, these puppies should still excel at conformation and thanks to Liv's history will be eligible to attempt both the U2RD and IWERD - a prestigious invitation that many of this line are not afforded!
We're expecting Sables, Blacks, and Blues from this pairing with a high chance of Tuxedo, Splash of White, and Pseudo Irish markings. We will not see medium coat offspring but are likely to see naturally peaked ears.

UPDATES INCOMING : ☆ This includes flash litter puppies, rescues, imports, and puppies from previous litters. After today these dogs will all be fully retired. If there's a dog you're interested in, that you believe may be in an inactive home, please contact us today! ☆ Your current breeding contract is irrelevant. Those were created in good faith only for me to continue to see people attempting to copy my dogs or outright trying to register them. This is a retroactive change!Until further notice ALL dogs on a contract other than a Full Rights one MUST send us a list of potential owners for any puppies produced by a dog from Blue Rivers for vetting purpose. This doesn't matter if only the sire or dam is from BR, any dog from us (flash, rescue, sample, normal litter, import, ect.). If we veto a potential owner we expect you to respect that, we will not be explaining why we veto someone, but owners are free to direct these people to us for further explanation. This will also extend to those doing collab litters. You must get approval from us if using a dog from BR for a collab, if we veto the collab partner we expect you to respect our decision. ☆ I don't know how to more clearly express how important it is for dogs from BR to only be breed with the intention to better the breed. Dogs being bred to foundation stock should only be happening if there are no other options (collab with people! We don't mind line mixing for most breeds as long as it's well thought out!), dogs being bred to unproven and untitled fresh faced stock should not be happening, our dogs being bred despite doing poorly in whatever discipline they focus on should not be happening, dogs that are incapable of performing well in the job the breed best excels at should not be bred unless they perform strongly in other areas. Please remember that Blue Rivers does NOT breed companion dogs, our stocks regardless of breed are workers first and foremost. They ALL have high working drives, they should ALL be capable of doing a job of some sort - if they aren't they should NOT be bred. I had originally left things kind of vague in my contracts in the hopes that this wouldn't be an issue but since it is I'm going to crack down on it a bit.

WELCOME TO 'FANTASY FICTION' & 'MYTHS'It's been a very busy couple of months for us and we're happy to finally have a bit of news to share! Our site is still under construction so updates there aren't available yet, apologies for the inconvenience!Late July both Dasani and Gabby, somehow despite residing in different homes hours apart and earlier than anticipated on Dasani's part, went into labour within hours of each other. We'd kept pretty hush-hush about 'Myths' since the litter was fully on Dasani's co-owners end and not ours but none the less we're happy for the reveal! Gabby whelped four healthy puppies with no losses or complications, with an even spread of two males and two females; we were excited to see yet another Red and a bit disheartened to see yet another White from this pairing. We've had some time to get to know the pups and are overall wholly impressed with what we're seeing, Gab is a wonderful mum and her and Lee's contributions continue to produce solid offspring - it's a little bittersweet to know that this is her last litter but we're ecstatic with the outcome and couldn't have asked for anything more. Those that were scheduled for it have been docked and ears have been cropped with no issues, everyone is healing well though enjoying the breaks from tape and our fussing. Our White pup has gotten a clear BEAR and, as of now at least, seems like she'll retain full hearing and eyesight - we'll, of course, be keeping an eye on that as she grows and are prepared should she lose either in the coming years. We're just about ready for their Volhard's test so we'll have more complete personality work-ups coming soon! All puppies have been spoken for!

Next up is 'Myths' ! This litter was 100% a product of Dasani's co-owners making, and we were more than happy to simply be along for the ride! She was paired with a very handsome dog from Russia who is a popular pick for print and film Ads over there along with having multiple international Championships and a solid BPH evaluation from SBT. Duke is a beautiful boy with a sharp head and gentle personality, his pairing with our headstrong girl was with the hopes of having equally as handsome offspring with more balanced temperaments- they've definitely delivered. Colour us surprised to get the phone call while we were watching Blue Collar make her way into the world that Dasani was showing signs of also being in labour! Our girl was a bit early, not enough to be horribly worrisome but a surprise nonetheless. She whelped two pups, who while a bit undersized due to the earliness, have been quick to be nearly caught up with Gabs' litter in weight and size - we're hoping the early birth won't have any hindrances on them but only time will tell at this point, as long as they're staying on track and healthy we're happy. Despite the smooth labour and easy pregnancy, Dasani struggled to nurse, through no fault of the pups who were eager to latch, we don't know if it was the stress of the early labour itself or if there was some other issue but she was not having it. No outright rejection of the pups, thankfully, as long as they weren't attempting to latch she was keen and interested in them, but once they moved to feed she was anxious to get away. So, instead of resorting to hand feeding the two we moved them back on-grounds and gave them a shot at integrating into 'Fantasy Fiction' with great success! Gab's been a wet nurse before, always happy to be an adoptive mum to rescues that come through or pups born in the kennel, she was more than happy to accept two more hungry mouths with a happy wag of a tail and curious sniff. Dasani made the move onto our grounds as well to make sure that we could still shift the pups back over to her for some downtime to help make sure she didn't totally lose her connection with them, they've all been thriving. Dasani appreciates the quiet time with her pups and is more than happy to relinquish them for feeding time and as they've all grown she's been, very clearly, looking to Gabby first for input before she interacts. We're hoping that our issues were all first-time mum jitters and that, should we get another litter from her, she'll be more confident and happy to do the full job herself in the future. The pairing is already proving to be a solid pick, the personalities we're seeing crop up from these two are very much in line with what we'd hoped for and we're so excited to see how they both mature. They'll be doing their Volhard's test along with Gab's pups so we'll also have more in-depth personality workups for these two soon! All puppies have been spoken for!

17 August Update: No dog obtained from us, regardless of how it was obtained (flash litter, normal litter, litter from others with our stock, import, rescue, ect.) may be used in the SIH, CKC, UIKC or in collabs with anyone associated with these clubs.
If I catch anyone using my dogs in these clubs (EVEN PUBLIC ONES, STOP IT) you'll be IP blocked from my kennel site, tumblr, and will no longer be able to get dogs/poses/anything else from me. |

'FANTASY FICTION' & 'MYTHS' UPDATESOOC: Apologies for the very, very long delay on these updates - the issues in August did a very good job of stomping out any desire/motivation to share anything with the community but I shouldn't have let that hinder getting these pups to their new homes.Personality breakdowns will be sent to the chosen owners rather than posted to help speed up the process of getting these pups homed. The pups are all growing like weeds, happy and eager to get out and explore the world around them, and truly starting to assert their own personalities. We've made our own picks, Alabaster (Red) and Silk (Black) from Fantasy Fiction along with Kelpie (Pink) from Myths will be staying with us!    More updates to come!

'FANTASY FICTION' & 'MYTHS' UPDATESOOC: Wooo, it's been a looooong ride - apologies on our end for the radio silence on these scamps.
Jumping right into it -From Fantasy Fiction we've got "Singalman" our gorgeous rust and tan girl who is headed over to highmountain . Next we have "Crow" our stubborn black and rust boy who will be heading to Kaiser . And from Myths! "Glaise" our striking black and rust boy will also be heading to Kaiser alongside Fantasy Fictions blue collar. The pups that weren't mentioned are staying at Blue Rivers! Future updates on them will be in our photo album. Puppies should be off to their new homes in the very near future.

'FANTASY FICTION' & 'MYTHS' - GOODBYESAnd they're off!Slowly but surely we're making the transition into Caden taking over the day to day running's of the kennel - and as his first big responsibility he oversaw the pups safe handover to their flight chaperones. A hard goodbye, for both him and little Alabaster, but we know these pups are off to fantastic homes and we're excited to see them prosper. And on a final, bittersweet note, our little Warriors are finally off to their new homes and their mum Ame is fully settled back in with her owner and ready to enjoy the rest of her life.  We'll miss these three, it isn't often that we don't keep a puppy from a litter but these three are set to have fantastic futures. It's been a long road for them and a big learning curve for us on multiple avenues - they're a hearty bunch out of our best boy and they've flourished in the hands of Storsjön's staff.

CAPELLO TICINESE WOLFHOUND LITTER A - 'PRIDE'
It's finally time!! I'm CRYING you have no idea how happy I am to finally be able to do this litter 
Thank you so much to EDGE for making such a lovely flier for us 
 ooc: Those big changes for BR, that have been 2+ years coming, are slowly starting to roll out and with it comes the litter we frankly never thought we'd have the chance to do! If anything the timing seems to have worked out perfectly and I am so glad I didn't jump the gun on this years ago  ..... Since our lovely son kinda spilled the beans on this during an interview he did, with our local Dobermann breed clubs magazine, we're officially announcing that we've finally gotten around to pairing our Tici! Or well... *coughs* we attempted to pair our dogs (Pluto & Willa). Pluto, not that unsurprisingly as he's never been a dog to take particular interest in a bitch in season, was not even the smallest bit interested in our girl when we attempted to pair them during her last season. It was a bit disappointing but, as a silver lining, did free us up to bring the two dogs along to the Novus Worlds show and the Anniversary Gala, the pups performed as well as we could have expected considering just how much we've let their conformation training go in the last few years, and gave us the chance to further explore our options since we did really want to get Willa bred. Using AI from Pluto was very much on the table but after a lot of talks, and some absolutely insightful input from Caden, we took a step back and let our kiddo take the reins and he ended up reaching out to our long-time breeding partner, Kaiser, for use of their red boy. A deal was struck and the specimen was shipped in short order! Willa's next season should be coming up in the next couple days and we've got high hopes that this will take - we'll keep ya'll updated, of course, and we'll hopefully have the good news soon. So keep an eye out for our first 'Pride' themed litter! 🏳️🌈 Yes, still pride themed even though June is almost over - I have no free time and shitty internet  cannot believe I've made it all these years and haven't timed a litter for June yet...... ooc: Our kennel site is currently in the middle of maintenance, as the ownership reigns get officially passed on to the next generation, so the update links won't be active atm but should get updated soon.
Please ignore the "Planned Litters" listed on the first page as they update/change in the coming days. All the litters are either technically done, fully claimed, or RP-specific to setup the coming time skip.

WORKING BORDER COLLIE LITTER B - ‘Bovidae’
No you didn't miss "Litter A" ! Our first BC litter was done with Snow's litter mate, Razzle, on behalf of the Leery's to fulfill the last of the contractual obligations Raz's new owners had with them. It was eye opening, to say the least, they're a very different breed than what we're used to BUT we had a blast and when Snow was returned to us we couldn't pass up the oppertunity to oversee his 'last hurrah as well. Snow, who despite our and his breeders' estimations, had a incredibly successful Conformation run earning both his Champion and Bronze Champion in quick order. Then moving on to earn his Obedience, Herding Champion and passing his Canine Good Citizen Test. He absolutely flourished in his previous home, we could not have been happier with our choice in placement there 0 this was a bit of a bittersweet reunion with him due to his previous kennels closure, and it was almost immediately clear to the Leery's that placing the two males was the best thing for them. When it comes to temperaments, both were a bit too soft when it came to working the herds and, while Snow did grab his Herding Champion title, he still doesn't quite have the drive to be working a herd consistently. As such, both boys were paired with bitches who had exceptinal herding drives and instincts in hopes that their offspring would be a nice mixture of the calm nature that does well in a ring and the non-nonsense attitude that keeps them from getting overwhelmed by a rowdy bull. It's proven to be a fantastic match for Raz, whose offspring are already showing some exceptional drives that very much match their dams' and we're expecting similar results from this pairing! Vif, from our friends at Cour Kennel, is an energetic girl who is at her happiest when working a herd. She's intelligent, driven, a wee bit of a troublemaker, and very handler focused. As much as she wants to be working the herd she wants to be working for her handler which has lent her to excel in agility, and various herding trials with all sorts of livestock throughout the country, canicross, and trick dog!  "Vif" ✖️ "Snow"This is an off-breed litter meant to preserve Snow's lineage and to help further the story for the person that owns his brother! Updates may be pretty sparse until puppies are ready to go home but I'll try to give this a little more attention to detail story-wise than I do with sample or flash litters. ❇️ Puppies will inherit +5 Obedience, +5 Herding, + Conformation ❇️ Dams lines are originating out of France/Moonwood Mill ❇️ Sires lines are originating out of Ireland/Henford-on-Bagley ❇️ Litter is being born on-site @ Blue Rivers (Ireland/Windenburg) ❇️ Blue Tricolour X Black & White, Extreme White ❇️ We're expecting both rough and smooth coats! Blue/white, tricolour, black/white, and blue tricolour with the possibility of extreme white.
