Hunt Test
About
The test itself is focused on working class dogs that are meant to hunt for work, rather than for sport. Dogs are more than welcome to interact with both the Hunt Test and the Field Trial simultaneously.
This test comes in a series of three, with only the two higher tiers offering titles.
In order to participate in the actual Hunt Test, dogs must first pass the Natural Ability Test (NAT) portion of this event.
* please be advised, there is an RNG component that will prevent 100% of dogs from moving on to the actual Hunt Test; projected failure rate is 10-15%.

Grading
Each entry will be evaluated on the following criterion: Use of Nose, Desire to Work, Handler Cooperation, Picture, Obedience, Arena, Style, and the Dog's Appearance as it pertains to hunting.Failure to pass the NAT will prevent the dog from entering the HT. Retakes are not permitted for the NAT portion of the HT.
If either component of the actual Hunt Test is failed, it may be retaken again once at a later date at the discretion of the judge that graded the original test. The same judge must grade the second attempt unless they are no longer active.
Passing and failing grades are final; you cannot take the test again in order to earn 'Exceptional' if you originally received 'Satisfactory.'
Excellent marks are only given to those with the highest scores, which will include approximately 10% of entries.
All other passing grades will receive Satisfactory marks.
