We're a bit behind schedule! Gabby went into season later than we were expecting, she's prone to silent and split heats so we're so glad we managed to catch her actually in season this time. After two failures we gave the pups a few days break before trying again and finally getting a successful tie! Thankfully they're best buds and the was no distress on either end during the failures. We'll have her checked out soon to hopefully confirm pregnancy and should that prove to be a success we're expecting the litter early to mid September! We're still taking just a few more reservations! You can fill out the reservation form here or check out these two's previous litter "Butterflies" here. We are expecting to see Melanistic pups from this litter, be sure to tick that box on the reservation form if you're interested. Or you know, breaking the RP & cheating 'cause I want a melanistic pup from these two before I retire them from breeding

We are also doing a private litter with our blue European working line boy Benny! We're taking no more than two reservation for this litter, likely just one though! I'm not sure how many the dams owner wanted to keep & BR won't be keeping any. Benny has passed his CGC test and has earned both his Champion and Schutzhund Champion titles. The dam, another blue European working line, is untitled and currently unregistered (she'll be registered before we do the breeding! Her owner doesn't have a computer at the moment lol). Both dogs will have passed the upcoming ZTP test before breeding hard maybe on this, only if I can get that setup before we're ready to do this litter! I should have pictures of the dam soon that will be able to be provided on request. Message me on Discord, and only Discord!, if you're interested

UPDATE Dobermann Litter C is here! // Gabby surprised everyone late Monday night by going into labor, of course waiting until we had left to pick up our new additions leaving just the teens keeping an eye on everything. Luckily even with just the girls (and the watchful eye of our vet Nevaeh) everything went smoothly and she was resting happily with her four new bundles by the time we made it back home.
Water litter consists of four healthy puppies: a black/rust, the only female, and red/rust we were expecting as well as what seems to be two black melanistic boys - a first for us. We're positive at least one of the boys will maintain the melanistic coat but we're not totally sure if the other boy will grow into some markings or if he'll keep the malesnatic coat as well.
Take home date will be the 11th of October (hopefully! I just moved + started a new project and things are a bit hectic atm). Currently all but one puppy has been reserved, we'll open up reservations for the last pup after the others have been claimed - maybe! There's a chance we may be keeping multiple but we're not 100% sure yet. Images will be sent to those that have reserved puppies soon so that you can take your pick!

UPDATE 091018 update // Everyone had their check-ups yesterday, docks are healing up beautifully, and everyone is on track with weight gain. Those that are going to be cropped will be soon and so far everyone has been cleared to go to their new homes once they're a bit older! We'll get information sent out to those that have reserved a puppy so they can make their picks later today.
They've been spending a lot more time outside of the whelping box, giving Gab a much deserved break, with no issues with weaning. There's been lots of exploring and introductions to new types of flooring, people, and a smooth transition to the puppy suitable raw diet mixture that we use. We absolutely love the personalities that we're seeing crop up from everyone, not a shy pup to be found in this litter!

UPDATE 191018 update // Take home day!
Everyone is up to date on their shots and those that were cropped have been healing nicely and are ready to come out of their initial postings! We spent their last week with us at a 'Puppy Boot-camp' of sorts for their last real behaviour evaluations and we're very happy with how everyone preformed, even our stubborn Green Collar (Presley) has lost a bit of that attitude and is proving to have a sturdy temperament and keen intelligence.
ooc: also introducing new puppy vaccine record for litters from us! i have no real free time, i'm not sure why i spent time on this lol but i'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
litter overview
pups will be sent out late tonight! i just don't have time atm to format messages and send the files, sorry

DOBERMANN LITTER E "FAIRY TALES" & SALUKI LITTER A "ZODIAC" 270819 // Upcoming Litter Updates! If you're interested in the Saluki litter please make sure to fill out the form located here! This litter status has been updated to " Iminite" as we're hoping to do the pairing the instant trial results have been posted! LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT:We're doing our first sample litter! Sample litters will have slightly accelerated timing, puppies will go home almost immediately after birth announcement. More about our sample litters and why we do them can be found on our breeding page here.
Sample Litter pairings are done only once and only on untitled dogs during a bitches first heat after turning two, health permitting, to give us a bit of insight into what sort of traits and temperament may be passed onto offspring - as well as giving us a chance to fine-tune a template/coats before we do a full-fledged litter.
LITTER INFOLitter Name: Dobermann Litter E "Fairy Tales" Breed: Dobermann Line: South American show line Litter Size: approx. 2 - 5 Coat Expectations: Black/Tan, Black/Rust, Red/Rust Date of Pairing: around 1 September Litter Reservations: CLOSEDReason for Litter: We do sample litters with South American line Dobermann foundation stock as it's significantly harder for us to track down reliable information on founder/import pedigrees due to vasty different testing practices in the SA breeding community.
Both pups have earned enough credits for their COA (we'll apply for their titles before the pairing takes place) through competitions instead of testing, we may rush to get them through their beginners tests before their birthdays but we're more than confident that the competitions that they've entered as youngsters (& placed in!) show enough of their solid stock to negate the need for a completed beginners test. Keep an eye on the dogs profile pages as detailed personality tests and their health tests will be added in the coming days as the two pups hit two years of age! Fill out the form here if you're interested in a puppy from this sample litter! Slots are filling quickly but active kennels here will have priority. Reservations for this litter are now closed! Breeding partners and trusted kennels may still apply until 1 September.

UPDATE Dobermann Litter E is here! // {as this is a sample litter timelines have been sped up signifigantly - puppies will be sent to their new homes once they've been claimed & there will likely be no nursery updates on this litter}
It took a couple of attempts before we got a solid tie but we were happy to be informed that the pairing had been a success!
Yasha took some adjusting to carrying, she overall wasn't too happy with having to take it easy towards the end, but so far she has proven to be a great mum! We had no troubles with latching and while we sadly lost the runt during whelping she's been a very attentive mum with a soft touch along with a gentle, though firm, hand when it comes to correcting her little brood.
We've been keeping a very close eye on the pups, watching out for personalities that are cropping up and have so far been extremely pleased with everyone. There's a decent spread of both parents in everyone along with some lovely coats, attitudes, and growing drives. We're excited to see how well these pups do in their new homes and are far more confident in a litter between these two down the line.

SALUKI LITTER A "ZODIAC" 271019 // Upcoming Litter Updates!LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT:It's time for litter Zodiac! We're so happy to be working with this pairing, while Saluki are not our focus breed, they excel in many of the things we enjoy and have those high drives that we absolutely love. Both Sophie and Surtur are back in Salvadora with our sister kennel, Liten Flod. While Amelia and her staff have housed many a puppy (Sophie included) and are well versed in dealing with this breed, the pairing and dealing with a pregnant dog will be a first for them. Everyone is both excited and nervous about it and we're all hoping Soph has a smooth first litter.
German Shepherd Litter A "Coffee" has been moved to Imminent status! We're waiting on a couple last things before we announce the sire but all the prospects we've seen so far have been fantastic! We know that regardless of which dog we go with we'll get some beautiful, hard working and driven pups out of the paring. As it's been awhile since we first announced this litter and we've had a few kennels back out of their reservation, we've reset the reservation list for "Coffee" litter. If you'd like to get on the list for a pup please fill out the form located here.
LITTER INFOLitter Name: Saluki Litter A "Zodiac" Breed: Saluki Fur Type: Feathered Litter Size: approx. 2 - 5 Coat Expectations: Irish Marked, Point, Solid. Cream, Black/Tan, White. We do not expect any Grizzle, Parti, or Sable. Coat Length: Feathered. Very low chance for Smooth.Inheritance: +5 Conformation Date of Pairing: around 31 Oct Litter Reservations: OPENLitter Expectations: We're expecting solid puppies with high drives who will excel at lure coursing but also be steady enough for conformation.
Sophie is the first of this breed that we've worked with and we could not be happy with her! She earned her Champion title quickly and continues to place well in Conformation with multiple first in group placements and a BOB while also placing well in Lure Coursing. We've done a bit of Disc Dog and Flyball with her, both of which she took to fantastically, she loves to work and loves to work with her handler and we're expecting that temperament to pass down to her pups. We're excited to get to work with Elegant Tails Kennel for this litter as Surtur is a beautiful dog who has shown great promise in Conformation as well. Fill out the form here if you're interested in a puppy from this litter! Slots are filling quickly but active kennels here will have priority.

'Zodiac' Litter Updates //
We got news this evening that there was finally a successful tie between Soph and Surtur! tie between Soph and Surtur! Thankfully we'd brought Surtur out far enough ahead of Sophie's heat that the two dogs got some solid time to get used to each other but even so when it came down to it Sophie was a nervous pup and it got to the point that we weren't sure she'd settle enough for Surtur to mount let alone get a solid tie from it.
With the hope of having another familiar faces around to help calm her, Gen's sister and Soph's favourite Sim, Signe (pictured above) made the trip out to Liten Flod to help with the process. It worked wonderfully and didn't take too long of Signe being on grounds for our girl to relax and let Surtur do his thing. We still had a couple failed attempts and it took the pups a couple tries but we finally got the tie we wanted; even though the first one did slip early, luckily the pups weren't phased and did better the next attempt.
Reservations for this litter will close once we get confirmation of conception! Get your applications in soon. /////
