Our Breeding Program
When considering a litter, as responsible breeders, we always choose the parents by carefully looking at their health test results and pedigrees, as well as taking into account their own unique personalities and quirks.
Our breeding program's main objective is refining the conformation of breeds we're working with, as well as focusing on nurturing a stable and amicable temperament, that will serve well for an arrange of various roles that the puppy may take on in future.
We believe that the key to well-rounded and sound puppies is not only the genetic background, but also the process of their arrival into this world. From the first weeks of pregnancy we try to do our best at providing a secure environment both for the puppies and their mom, to show there's a wonderful world that awaits them.

I humbly ask that you respect my standards and wishes when it comes to placing puppies - I simply want to see the pups coming out of Dawnle living a happy life and participating in shows. Rehoming is the last thing I want to do and if I'm not 100% sure whether you'll be a good fit, I'd rather deny your application.

It's finally happening, our first in-house litter! We have high hopes for these pups and we're pretty sure they'll live up to them. From this pair we expect elegant, yet expressive and darling little ones with a stable temperament, while also preserving that signature Pyr independence we all so love. Thanks to the strong showing background of the pair, these pups will be perfect for conformation showing, so the new owners can rest assured on entering the show ring life with them, but we do not exclude the possibility of obedience potential with the right pup.
We'll be meticulously looking at all the applicants to ensure that our bundles of joy will go into upstanding homes, in which they'll go on to achieve great things and continue on, as very important parts of our founding lineage.
At this moment, we still can't provide a fixed Date Of Breeding, because of pending results, but we are looking towards the second part of June, so once we get a clearer picture of the situation, we will make sure to post an update. If you're interested please keep an eye out on this page!
However, we can announce that the applications for this litter are officially open to the public! Please make sure you read and agree to our Puppy Contract & FAQ before applying or your application will be denied!

For those of you who have been keeping your eye out on us, we know we've been keeping very quiet around our progress, but today we're absolutely thrilled to announce that our Great Pyrenees Litter ''A'' joined us on the earth side on 31.07.2020. at 6:32 am! As expected, we were joined by 2 boys and 2 girls, with both boys and a girl having badger markings, and our other girl being competely white. Wonderfully wrapping up the past month with their arrival, we can't wait to see what personalities and stories these little ones will bring into our, and later on, the homes of their new owners.
With this being our first litter, we wanted to ensure that our full attention was directed towards our lovely first-time mum Lori, as well as all the other processes associated with it, hence the lack of updates. We also want to forward a thank you to our mentors and our faithful vet, who were there with us every step of the way. Without you this for sure would've been a much more stressful journey than it already was!
As of now, Lori and the pups are settling in very well, with Lori doing an amazing job taking care of them. As for us... We're now easing into the new routine and overviewing our socialization and training plan, which we're quite confident about, and can't wait to begin working with.
All applicants will be contacted in the next few days, so if you're one of them, await new information from us very soon!

Well hello there! Yes, you’re right, an update on our lovely Litter ‘’A’’! We’ll be honest, the road has been a little bumpy, with us learning a whole lot and experiencing a bit of a fatigue at times, but thanks to our wonderful mentors we’ve made it til now (mostly) sane and of course with all of our four little ones happy, and most importantly, healthy!
Either way, all the new experiences aside, we can’t describe how elated we are to see these pups growing in front of our eyes and seeing their personalities shine through more and more with each day!
First, we’d like to introduce our girl Astrid, who’ll be staying with us. This far she has proved to be an odd one out of the bunch, which has been one of the biggest reasons that attracted us, yet meshing very well with everyone. While she has definitely retained the independent spirit that’s apparent in all littermates, similarly to her father, she has also harbored more of a bond with one person, in this case being me (Sonja). Overall, Astrid is a curious girl, always up for some quality time together, which we’re very fond of.
Next up, our second girl, Althea. The mellowest out of all, she’s a friendly and charming sweetheart, with a bewitching spark in her eyes, and of course an amazing snow white coat. We absolutely see a bright future in front of her in conformation showing, thanks both to her physical and temperamental aspects, and can’t wait to see her blossom out even more in the future.
With that we’ve come to our hearty and confident boy, Angus. He's quite a character for sure, always letting his presence known by being a bit of a vocal virtuoso, if you ask us, and at the same time combining it with the endearing nature of a couch potato. Despite being a little all over the place, he can totally be made to work with enough encouragement and if continued to be trained properly, we see a lot of potential in him due to his heartiness and willingness to keep going once he does get into the rhythm. However, we do expect him to be a treat to see on the show ring as well!
And finally, our clever fellow, Ansel. He has really pleasantly surprised us with his quick-wittedness, even if sometimes it means a little trouble. He has a bright personality, but he does enjoy his ‘’me time’ and is a bit aloof, so keeping tabs on him is a must, along with plenty of stimulation. We do think it’ll change with age, with him becoming more mature and opening up, so it’ll be interesting to see what will come out of him.
All in all, we’re very happy with how things are going right now and we’ll be sure to come back with another update as soon as possible!

Just like promised we’re back with another update on Litter ‘’A’’! And this time featuring our sister-in-law’s lovely family! With pups seemingly growing by hours, not days, time for them to go to their new homes is steadily approaching and while we can’t wait to see them off continuing their lives there, we do feel the bittersweetness creeping onto us, so we’re making the best out of the time that they’re still here. With the whole Shafi household here, it was very interesting to see our already not-so-little-ones interact with some new people. We’ve really poured ourselves into providing lots of socialization and we must say that it’s a joy to see our hard work pay off, with them so confidently going out into the world. On another note, it was so adorable to see our Althea play around with Mahrukh. What a charming pair, aren’t they? Who knows, maybe this is a junior handler in making? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!Either way, it was so sweet to meet up with our family and spend time like this! We’ll be finishing up on some obedience training and doing some last tests with feeling out their abilities, but after that, off will they go <3

The thrilling, but quite difficult moment for us has finally come - our Litter ‘’A’’ is heading to their new homes. We’ve been finding comfort in the fact that our adorable Astrid will continue her life here, with us, but even despite the melancholy, we still can’t wait to see the rest of the bunch out in the world very soon. Our other girl, Althea, will go on to bring joy at Red Hills Ranch under the care of Shelly Morgan . Since the first days, she’s been such a sweetheart and surely would fit into any pack marvelously, with her mellow and easy-going personality, but we’re absolutely positive that her true home is exactly at Red Hills.
Next up are our boys, Angus and Ansel! Angus from now on will call his home Grim Den ; we believe in the future his heartiness will flourish there (of course without betraying his laid-back yet expressive antics 😁), alongside their zealous and tight-knit team. As for Ansel, everyone at Kaiser will get the privilege to enjoy his wit, and we’re especially excited to see what endeavours they’ll take on.
And so, we bid farewell to our first Great Pyrenees Litter ‘’A’’. Grow strong and may your days be always radiant at your new homes, little ones ❤️
