Editing allowed within reason. » Pictures must show the dog(s) in full as well as at least parts of the lure or prey for coursers and the handler or helper when appropriate for trackers. If entry is for a team, parts of dogs in the background may be out of the shot. » Images entered into previous trials may not be used.[/ul] Requirements[/b] Dogs must either be a hound group breed, have one hound group parent or coursing/tracking must be the primary purpose of their breed. This includes Novus hounds! » Dogs must be over the age of 2 years to participate » Handlers must be over the age of 18 years to participate. [/ul] Setting[/b] It should be apparent that these dogs are hunting in the middle of winter. Whether your way of doing this is snow on the trees, snow on the ground, or snowflakes falling, it should be clear what season it is.» Hound Trials are held outdoors in an area appropriate for the activity. Coursing can take place in an open field (lure chasing) or a wooded area (prey chasing).
