ACTIVE - EARTHDOG  | DISIPLINE INFORMATION Earthdog tests, working ability and instinct of those breeds bred to hunt 'vermin', involve man-made tunnels that the dogs must navigate, while scenting a rat, "the quarry" The dog must follow the scent to the quarry and then "work" the quarry ie. barking, scratching, staring, pawing, digging; any active behaviour. Animals used as the 'quarry' are not to be harmed! HOW-TO » Once the discipline is announced you will have 14 days to enter no more than 4 dogs per kennel. » Each dog may have a maximum of 7 images posted to help bolster their title approval chances. » Each additional image past the first will work towards qualification though you are not required to post more than 1 image. Consider these entries as dog and handlers working over the two-week-long period to compile their video for submission. » At the end of the 14 days the next discipline will be announced and no further images for the previous one will be accepted.
