Lone Wolf Rescue Centre is a branch of Lone Wolf Kennels specializing in the rehabilitation and rescue of dogs in need. We bring in a variety of dogs, mostly purebreds but sometimes mixed breeds as well. Our main focus is to rescue and rehab dogs from local underground dog fighting rings however we take any dogs in need of some TCL and help finding their forever home. In this thread we will post any dogs available for adoption with the rescue and their stories. The rescue is inside our home and we normally only take on two dogs max at one time.
Standard rescues will not come with any registration or titles. However we offer registration and acquiring a COA title (for puppies) or a Breed Stability Test for purebreds who are going to be active. All rescues will come health tested with a full panel via our personal testing facility and an adoption certificate. Starting prices for adoption with our rescue centre is $200. If you wish to get the dog registered and titled (COA or BST) the price will be $450. COA and BST are only offered to our rescues that are purebred and owners who have the intention of actively participating in the SIKC. Full panel health testing is included in the starting price.
Not all rescues will be in standard of their breed, we shoot for more realistic actual rescue dog conformity. Some rescues will be mixed breeds as well. This is not a purebred import service. However we will have some show quality rescues here and there.
All out of standard and mixed breed rescues will come altered unless they are underage. In which case underage rescues that are also out of standard require alteration at 2 years of age at the earliest and 4 years of age at the latest. No rescues that do not have previous full breeding rights are allowed to be bred.

Prissy | Adult Greyhound
Prissy's Story
Prissy is a 5 year old purebred Greyhound. Her coloring can be described as White and Brindle Ticked. She is a retired racer and spent a fair amount of her life on the race track. Her previous owner asked us to help her with whelping and finding her a forever home to live out her retirement. Prissy recently whelped a litter of just one surviving female puppy. You can find her puppy’s profile below if you’d like to adopt them out together. Prissy is an extremely affectionate and loving girl who absolutely loves to cuddle. She is extremely fast and loves to run like any typical Greyhound. Prissy does not do well with small animals such as cats, chickens etc. and has an extreme prey drive. She is however amazing with other dogs. The ideal home for her would be one with a lot of space to run and a home that can handle her prey drive. She is good with children so a home with kids may be an awesome fit for her. Prissy could make an ideal sporting prospect and would excel in Lure Coursing, Agility, FastCAT etc.
Prissy will come home altered after she finishes whelping her current puppy. She will not have ANY breeding rights. For the most part she fits the breed standard from what we understand. Prissy will also come with a full panel of health testing and an adoption certificate. Please fill out an adoption application of message us if you’re interested.
Starting Adoption Price: $200
Missy's Story
Prissy’s singleton puppy, Missy is available for adoption. She’s not ready for her new home yet but will be pretty soon! We’ve conducted a temperament test on her today and we think an active home possibly with children of any age would be a good fit. We have been raising this girl with ENS and Puppy Culture as well as socializing her to as many things as possible. She’s very good with other dogs and a bit of a wild child. Missy is extremely inquisitive and a fast learner from what we’ve observed from her. Being a Greyhound she is extremely fast and has a high drive, she would make a great sporting candidate for sure as well. She’s a bit off standard from what we understand but still a great project. We would be willing to register her and get her COA title for anyone who would want to be active in a kennel club with her.
Starting Adoption Price: $200
