Amaranthine's Litters
Terms
Of Use
Of Use
- You may not change the appearance of, re-upload, or transfer any dog you get from me to someone else without my explicit prior permission.
- You must follow my aging system until the litter reaches 2 years of age. I will let you know what day that is when sending over their files.
- You must make a post, announcement, and/or send me a private update about the puppy you received within 14 days of the take-home date.
- Breeding rights cannot be changed, so make sure you know what you want when reserving your pup.
- You must contact me before entering an RNG Conformation Show for approval. It is unlikely I will approve it, but I may make exceptions for dogs needing only participation points to earn a title. This is to respect the effort and time I have put into growing Amaranthine’s success and notability in the Labrador breed and our dog’s lineage at large.
- You may not “kill off” a dog before they have reached at least 7 years of age, unless you clear it with me first. I am a fan of realism (and unfortunate things do happen after all) so I am likely to respect any generated outcomes you may roll in your story writing.
- If I find you have broken my TOU I will give you the opportunity to rectify the problem, but if you do not do so within 7 days I will take back the dog and you will be ineligible to get any dog/puppy/cc/etc from me again. If you break my TOU more than once, the dog will be taken back immediately and you will no longer get anything from me again.
Everything stated in this section is subject to leeway, except for the broken TOU rule. I understand and respect personal lives, technology issues, etc. however, it is absolutely necessary for me to set rules and boundaries to keep everything safe, fun, and enjoyable. Thank you <3
Aging
System
System
- 1 Sim Week = 1 Day
- 1 Sim Month = 5 Days
- 1 Sim Year = 60 Days
This means that puppies go home exactly 7 days after the litter birth announcement. At this point your puppy will be 8 weeks old and ready to begin their new life with you.
Puppies will be 2 years of age 120 days (4 months) after receiving their files, at which point you are free to use whatever aging/time system you wish. I will contact you to remind you of this and get a 2-year update on the pup/s you received.
Paying
- There are no application fees. Once the application is submitted you will be added to Amaranthine’s wait-list.
- To move from the wait-list to reserving a puppy, I will send you a message to assure you are still interested. At that point you will need to send a $50 nonrefundable deposit.
- Full purchase price varies due to multiple factors (registration type, contract type, etc) but start at $300 minimum. You must pay in full before the take-home date.
Order
- Amaranthine does not work on a first-come-first-serve basis. Puppies are matched appropriately with prospective owners to ensure the best fit possible.
- Individuals involved in the Sims International Kennel Club (SIKC) and/or Sims Kennel Association (SKA) get top priority.
- Litters of thoroughly titled parents will only go to competing homes and/or kennels, unless entered into a co-owning contract with Amaranthine.
- Puppies will be temperament tested at 7 weeks of age (the day before their take-home date) using a random generator that is weighted based on their parents' genetics. You will be updated with their personality and temperament info ASAP.
- You may back-out for a full refund (minus deposit) before take-home day. However, if you back-out after the take-home date you will not receive a refund.
- Wait-list works as a first-come-first-serve, but Amaranthine Kennel reserves the right to lower you on the list if we are uneasy about placing a puppy with you (i.e. inactivity, previous broken TOU, backing out of a litter, etc).
- You may always return a dog to us with no questions asked. Sometimes things don't work out and we won't hold it against you to have us rehome a dog. There will only be a problem if returning dogs becomes a pattern, understandably.
