I was thinking, as a total newbie to all of this, it would be cool to have a sort of guide to the whole process. Maybe an area that lays out time frames (I know 8 weeks is 1 sim year, but maybe X time from birth to puppies being able to go home, etc).
Where to register dogs that don't have breed clubs, because I haven't found that (but intend to ask, because everyone has been so nice and helpful!).
I'll try and make note if anything else comes up, but these are my thoughts so far! Really enjoying sim showing!

For breeds that don't currently have an active breed club you can use the regular registration form on the site link or if you would like to run a breed club you can apply for that on the same page! Mm, I think overall that's going to depend on how many people switch to the 4 weeks = 1 year time frame, I'm not even sure I'm going to make the switch myself, I do like the sped up time-frame but at the same time my dogs dying that much quicker makes me angsty lol but break downs on how the time frame(s) work could be helpful! If there's some specifics that are missing from the How-to section ( link) let me know! I'll see about making a "Things to Know Before Getting Started" type guide for people that are totally new to this - Imögen

I found out from Imögens Kennel that she created pedigrees for the litters, which I think is a genius idea. Would not it be an idea for all those who want to provide a ready-made for the users among us who are not so good at graphic design? Kio

PLSR BULLIES I think my only issue with that is that people would need to have a general idea how to edit the images and then keep up with it. I'm happy to make a generic .psd that people can edit as they need (that wont include the wax seal) if that's something people would like but I also think part of the fun in that is making it original and unique to a kennel. - Imögen

Hmm...
That would be a good idea. As for the lack of knowledge, you can offer to work for someone. A graphics service for example and a simple tutorial on this in the appropriate thread. The .psd can only be a guideline. I've looked a little time in the VDH and they have a form the breeder can use - but do not have to.
It does not have to be, to use these certificates but it would be a great gimmick

PLSR BULLIES That's an idea, for sure. I don't currently have the kind of free time that I'd need to be able to offer any kind of service for making one for people (three kennels of my own to keep up with and a ton of dogs + a couple ts4 challenges haha) but I'll make a couple template .psds or maybe a tutorial of sorts in the next couple days.

If you're willing to do that I'm very happy to put together a tutorial and some example .psds!

Also maybye the owners could set up a reward program so like once a day by logging on you get money something like 20$ I dont know how that would be set up but It would help earn money or maybe add some other way to earn money? yes im aware that you can have services but no one seems interested in my puppy training program (i know it will probably take time for people to get into that) and I know you can host shows to earn money but I feel like your loosing money... I dont know

@beesbaysidekennel We currently feel that there's enough opportunities for you to earn money, even without having your own services or hosting shows, and don't have any current plans to add a passive way to gain income.

Ok I just realised that the more you participate the more chances of money you can earn so I understand that but maybe someone can do a tutorial on how to make show leads that look good for conformation shows that would really help me
thanks again
